Solar panel project is saving the City of Quincy money
QUINCY (WGEM) – The Metropolis of Quincy was paid $1,300 for energy generated by photo voltaic panels in January on the Quincy Regional Airport.
Quincy Regional Airport Director Chuck Miller stated that now that the photo voltaic panel array is up and working, there are occasions when it should generate sufficient vitality to energy the airport’s terminal constructing after which others. He stated that they will promote again that further industrial energy and make a revenue.
Miller stated they used 24% much less industrial energy in January, which might have been bought again.
